I’m Optimistic

I am 35 years old and losing my hair. I can’t believe it. Since April 07 my hair started falling out. I am so unsure that I really cant express how I feel. I have alopecia areata. I have had stress through out my life. Why now?

It started as a small patch no larger than a dime and now it is about the size of the top of a average coffee cup, right on top of my head. I have to fight with myself in the morning to try and cover the spot by grabbing my other hair and pulling it up. I get so aggravated and no one in my family really understands why I seem crazy during this time. But I am real sick of that hair style. It has only been about 5 months and I may have to shave my head soon if it continues to fall out toward the front. I am not one to wear a wig, I can do a bandana, I have tried some cover ups I found at stores. Please if anyone is as frustrated as I am it would be nice to talk to you.
