To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download My Rosacea I have been dealing with rosacea since I was 28. I was prescribed Desowen. A typical steriod that I had been using ever since but, trying desprately to find another solution in keeping episodes of the rosacea from recurring. My parents now in their 60’s are just now experiencing rosacea. However, while visiting them my mom and I discussed the fact that I really wanted to be able to quit using the steriod. She knew that since I was 15 I used Oil Of Olay products. She handed me some Olay facial scrub. And said, ” clean your face good with this it will remove all the flakey skin. Use it twice a day and make sure you also use the Olay lotion with spf. You can purchase a night cream. This was all back in March 2007. It is now November 2007 and I have still not had to use the steroid. Normally any change in the weather and my face would become red and itchy. And the skin would start flaking at my nose area. But, so far my face is great. I have started using more of the Regenerist Olay products with great results. I am not telling anyone to do this. This just happens to be what works for me and my mother. The veins still show just not as much. Nothing that makeup can’t hide. Comments
