To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Dealing with Stress Who doesn’t have some sort of stress in their lives these days?! Unlike many folks, I have health conditions that flair when I get stressed, (asthma and tmj for example), so I have to be ‘on top of my game’ at all times, or pay the consequences. I have explained this to family and friends/acquaintences and if they aren’t willing to work with me, then they are no longer a part of my life. For example, all my husband’s sisters can talk about is their religion, never anything else. (I am LDS). This stresses me to no end so I refuse to have any contact with them whatsoever. This is not popular but oh well. When I find stress getting the best of me I get out of the situation as quickly as possible and listen to soothing music, watch a movie (both on my ipod) and/or work on my needlepoint. Just remember, YOU know yourself best, and taking care of yourself ought to be your number 1 priority. If you don’t, not only do YOU suffer but those around you do as well. Comments
